In the daytime (and sometimes at night too) I am a professional fundraiser (I am even certified - I received my CFRE in August 2011). These days I am writing grants and recruiting while I hold out for my new job to start - darn COVID-19!
Previous to 2020, I served as the Senior Director of Talent Management and Organizational Development for our Development and Alumni Relations Division and was the fundraiser for the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies where I helped to complete a capital campaign for $26.2M to build a new home for the school. If you are in Houston this place is amazing for taking classes.
Other: I am a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio (BA) and the University of Houston (M.Ed). I'm also a native Houstonian and a sixth generation Texan.
